This Devotional Blog will share Christianity and Biblical truth. It will be as correct Biblically as I can make it, but there is no substitute for reading and understanding scripture straight from the Word of God – the Bible. So, I hope this weekly Devotional Blog will bless you and I hope you have a great week. I pray that God blesses each of you abundantly. Scroll down to see the Blogs.
Devotional Blog and my Faith
I’ve been a Christian since 1979, accepting Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior in Orlando at First Baptist Church Pinecastle. I lived in Orlando Florida at that time and fell in love with the fact Jesus loved me unconditionally and was also willing to sacrifice himself for me. Something I don’t deserve, but gladly accept. I haven’t always been faithful to Him, but He has always been faithful to me. Serving my Lord as a Gideon, a Chaplain for my American Legion post as well as a Sunday school teacher. I have also taken it upon myself to serve my Lord with my writing. I’ve written two Christian Fiction Books and you can find them HERE. I also maintain a Christian website and Blog at Biblical Faith & Reasoning, located HERE. I serve my Lord willingly, by faith and reason.
Devotional Blog to Share my Faith
The purpose of what is referred to as the “Great Commission” is to share your faith with others. Specifically, so that they can have a relationship with the creator of everything – God. And so, they can obtain eternal life through their faith in Christ and receive His grace, which is freely given. Unfortunately, this “sharing your faith” has fallen out of favor.
A new poll says that 47% of millennials feel sharing their faith is wrong. Why? Because it imposes their beliefs on others. But what they fail to realize is that sharing their faith is the greatest act of love and service they can provide. So, in sharing their faith with others, they offer the greatest gift of all time – God’s grace. In other words, God’s unmerited favor and forgiveness that grants them entry into heaven. No gift, no act of kindness, no demonstration of generosity compares. That’s why I share my faith.
