The Friends of Gideons is a non-association group focused on supporting The Gideons International. This non-member support includes prayer and financial gifts. The Friends of Gideons comes with several benefits. Most importantly, this group provides offerings for the purchase and distribution of scriptures and prayer support of the ministry. You will also have a standing invitation to the annual Pastor’s Banquet.
Friends of Gideons and Evangilism
Our communities are full of people who have not heard the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. There are also numerous communities worldwide that have not heard the gospel. If you cannot be part of the Gideons International Association, you can be part of the Friends of the Gideons. This option allows you to share scriptures and the gospel with people worldwide. The Gideons do the legwork and logistics, and we together reap the benefits of the souls saved by God’s grace.
Prayer Ministry
You can pray for the over 245,000 men and women who carry out The Gideons International’s ministry. Hence, you can pray for our scripture blitzes both locally and worldwide. You can pray for your local camp and the individuals that make up the camp. You can also pray for the millions that are lost and without Christ. Even if you don’t commit to the Friends of Gideons group, you are still welcome to pray for our ministry.
Financial Support
The Gideons International is a ministry, and all ministries require money. So, if you have the financial ability to give, we would appreciate it, and all those who receive scriptures will be overjoyed too.
