In June of 2018, I happened upon the Christian Leaders Institute. It is an online seminary dedicated to providing Free Christian Courses to anyone that passes the introductory class. It’s just an easy introduction, so just about anyone will be eligible. Since June 2018, I’ve taken 40 classes and have earned Licensed Minister, Licensed Ministry Chaplain, Licensed Christian Wedding Officiant, and Life Coach Minister certifications. Since the classes are completely self-paced, people who study the Bible for a closer walk with our Lord can go through classes quickly and at no cost to them.

Christian Leaders Institute provides motivated Christians, training so they can be more effective leaders in their churches and communities. They can do this through the passion of generous partners who support these revolutionary, free, online college-level classes and low-cost official degrees. Simply enroll in their free scholar orientation class. This class will take you less than 2 hours to complete. After you finish this class, you will be able to take all the education classes we offer. You do not need a high school degree, but you must complete the orientation class to get started.
What about their Accreditation?
They are accredited by IABCS (International Association of Bible Schools and Seminaries). They are also seeking additional accreditation. Henry Reyenga, President of the Christian Leaders Institute just met with officials a couple of days ago to continue pursuing National Accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) out of Orlando, Florida. For CLI to have USDE-recognized accreditation, they must complete this necessary step in their compliance with the 22 standards that guide the accreditation process. Christian Leaders Institute (CLI) is not some get your degree by just paying for its organization. I’ve seen many of these types of scam websites. CLI has genuine college-level classes that you must pass in order to proceed. True quality education for Free.
What Do I Think About CLI Academics?
I’ve been astounded at the accuracy of the doctrine of the Free Christian Courses at Christian Leaders Institute. I have taken courses from other websites and was disappointed in the inaccuracy of their doctrine. So, what’s so great about doctrine? Well, the study of Theology teaches that if you take the whole of scripture and logically extract the key truths you get sound doctrine. Doctrine is profoundly important because it shares the truth from the full counsel of God – the Bible.
On the other hand, a lack of theological study leads to inaccurate or even heretical doctrine. This leads to apostate churches, pastors, and church leadership. Apostate means fallen away from sound doctrine. It’s a dangerous slippery slope. CLI has rock-solid Christian theology which yields sound doctrine.
My Experience with These Free Christian Courses
All the classes that I completed at Christian Leaders Institute had rock-solid doctrine. I’ve taken Christian Basics, Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, and Theology 1 with Dr. David Feddes. I’m particularly impressed with Dr. David Feddes. He is the pastor of the Family of Faith Church and the Provost of the Christian Leaders Institute. David is also an adjunct missiologist for Crossroad Bible Institute, which provides biblical distance education to more than 40,000 people in prison. Previously he served as broadcast minister for the Back to God radio program, reaching people in more than fifty countries. David earned his Ph.D. in intercultural studies from Trinity International University, Deerfield, IL, and is a graduate of Calvin Theological Seminary.
Free Ministry Training
These free classes from Christian Leaders Institute are the best free training in Ministry that I’ve found thus far. You can take as many college-level classes as you like for free. You do run into a cost if you choose a degree program. I might even go ahead and get another Bachelor’s degree from them. I currently have a Bachelor of Health Science Degree from George Washington University. The cost (if you already have an Associate or Bachelors) is only $1,000 for the entire Bachelor’s degree program. Yep, that’s the total, I didn’t type it wrong, and the grades are transferable to several seminaries listed on their website. If you have no degree transferable education and you’re starting at the beginning, the cost is $2,000.
If You Love Our Lord Jesus and Want to Serve
It’s a great place for anyone who wants to grow in the Lord. If you don’t care about a degree, you can just take classes for free. That’s what I’ve done so far, and after 62 credit hours, I haven’t paid a penny. Free College-level Christian Courses with no expense except my time. They do ask for donations, but all ministries do, so that shouldn’t surprise anyone. Thus far, I have only purchased a tee shirt from them, but no tuition or fees. I will donate in the future though, because they’ve proven themselves to me. I’m also confident in them enough to start giving them a monthly donation so that they can continue providing free classes to everyone that wants to learn.
